Safeguarding

At St Cuthbert’s C of E Junior School we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of our children and we expect all members of staff and volunteers in school to share this commitment.

Our aim is to establish an environment where children feel safe, are encouraged to talk and are listened to when they have a worry or concern. Parents and carers may also contact us when they have a worry or a concern about the welfare and safety of their child. There is a wide range of nurture intervention available in school for children to be part of to help them overcome concerns that may impact on their welfare or safety and may also be a barrier to their learning.

If you have any concerns or worries about your child please come in and speak to us.

Online Safety

At St Cuthbert’s C of E Junior School, we are proud to be working in partnership with Smoothwall to promote online safety for both you and your child.

The Online Safety Hub is a dedicated website offering a wide range of resources, including app reviews and practical advice for parents and carers. It is designed to help children benefit from all the positive opportunities that technology can offer, while also supporting families in developing the knowledge and skills needed to guide and protect children throughout their digital journeys.
