Placing a bid

Welcome to our very first Silent Auction.   



How It Works 

Items in the auction are listed below.  Bids are made in secret; the highest bidder wins the item.  All items have a suggested minimum bid that reflects the approximate value of the item. 

Remember: the higher you bid the more likely you are to win. 

How To Bid 

In person – place your bid in the box in reception. 

Or 

Email your bid to school.office@scjwells.co.uk  subject “Auction” 

 

Please include your name, contact details, auction item and bid. 

The auction will be closed at 9:30am on Friday 20th May.  The highest bidder for each item will be contacted shortly after this time to arrange collection of your prize. 

Rules 

  • We have the right to add or withdraw items without notice. 
  • All sales are final, there are no exchanges, and all items are sold “as is”. 
  • No refunds after purchase. Winners are responsible for item(s) once they are claimed. 
  • Gift cards or certificates are subject to availability and expiry dates. 
  • Each bidder assumes all risks and hazards related to the silent auction and items. 
  • Age restrictions may apply (on items such as liquor, gift cards to wine bars etc) 
  • A valid ID will be necessary to purchase items with age restrictions. 
  • No additional bids may be placed once the auction is declared closed. 
  • The highest qualifying bid wins the item. 
  • Winners must pick up their items only after payment has been received. 
  • Any items not claimed will be re-auctioned or raffled at a later date.
