Blue School Transition 2020

St Cuthbert's School • June 19, 2020
Due to the current climate, you will be aware that it has been incredibly difficult to organiseany transition for the children in Year 6 who are due to move to secondary school in September. Blue School are very aware of this and have arranged for Mr. Higgins to visit school next Tuesday at 10.00am to meet the Year 6 children and talk to them about their transition to Blue School in September.

We have discussed the best way to do this ensuring that we continue to follow safety
guidelines. The meeting will take place outside and children will sit within their family groups maintaining a 2 metre distance. Children will listen to information given from Mr. Higgins and will have an opportunity to ask questions.
The children who are currently not attending school are welcome to attend if you wish them to. They will enter through the school playground gates and will be sitting at an appropriate distance away from other children. This means they do not need to enter the school building.

This meeting is for children only so if you intend to bring your child for this session, we
anticipate it will last for around 1 ½ hours. You will be welcome to then take your child home. If you intend to bring your child specifically for this transition session, please inform the school  office by email: sch.396@educ.somerset.gov.uk or telephone 01749678066.
